My mom leaves her hair dryer plugged in literally always (whenever I call her out on it her excuse is that “I’m not done using it yet”, but I just unplugged it in the bathroom at 5 pm when she showered and left for work today before 8 am) and I try to explain to her that it’s a safety hazard, what with multiple water sources in the bathroom and older, sometimes faulty wiring in our home I’m like I swear someday it’s gonna start a fire or cause someone to get shocked or electrocuted but she just can’t be inconvenienced for 2 seconds to put away her blow dryer when she’s done using it 🤦‍♀️
