There are several venery terms for eagles, but much like the baboon, eagles can be a congress—seems a fitting coincidence.
Sure, a white and blue creature trying to hide in a green and brown environment doesn’t make sense, but neither does destroying everything and thinking that replanting is enough for what nature needs now.
Week Seven:
Yeti are friends, not food.
Week Four:
I forgot to post this.
Extinction, abandonment, loneliness: sometimes it takes fantasy to cope. The best antidote to the sadness is some form of friendship to help relieve those feelings.
Week Six:
You know, right before I find that thing I’ve been looking for, everything can feel kind of bleak—like the world and all its resources are stacked against me. Those searching moments stem into eternity. But then I find that perfect skipper, and there is something lovely about that.
I’m sure no one else has these moments. I mean, it’s just a sublime skipping rock. Nothing special, right?
Week Five
Because I have a day job, all of these had to be done ahead of time. So, things may be a little “old news” at times. I’ve decided that’s okay. I originally had the top penguin saying 2025, to allow for the double use of the number, but I decided that it might trip up people a little more than I intended—however, now you know.
