What brought you to the CoD fandom?

Okay I’ve technically been part of the CoD fandom since I was younger. I’ve played all the games (I think?) and I used to play with my brothers all the time but not as much anymore but for what got me into reading fan fics about CoD? I hate to say it but TikTok.

I know that can be a bit of a controversial topic in the CoD fandom here on tumblr (which I don’t understand but whatever). It was an edit of Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley himself and that made me fall down the rabbit hole I’m in now 🫠 fun fact I actually have over a 1,000 CoD videos saved on said app 🫣

(One of the first fics I read was body electric by Yeyinde (I believe that’s their name?) and I highly recommend it for anyone that hasn’t read it! It can a lot though as it’s read x tf141 with Alejandro and Rudy too.)

So, I've been reading aliens vs predator prey. The book from y'know, 1994 before we had lex, scar and wolf. Yeah, that one

We are introduced to a character named Yeyinde, or what they call dachande.

He is a blooded warrior, who happens to have a broken tusk similar to deks.

Now I haven't read the full book quite yet but, dachande while getting blooded, loses his brother...also, very similar to dek losing his own.

They have different deaths though.
