The Key of King Solomon, Ye Zhou

Solomon is the Biblical king most famous for his wisdom. is my favourite encyclopaedia when I was little, it is said that the best known story of his wisdom is the Judgment of Solomon. Wisely and rightly his judged, made him achieved what he wanted eventually. What I want to interpret about him through this painting was - the way to success. Nowadays, the mainstream concept of achievement is Thick Black Theory, when we combine the specialties of fox and lion, tricky like fox and cruel like lion, then we will gain the grand achievement ever. When some people cannot make themselves big even they has been applied the Thick Black theory in their lives, they would only blamed on too kind to execute tricky and cruel themselves for their unfulfilled. However, the fact is we have been executed the ultimate of Thick Black theory already, but not wise enough.

The Rose of The Little Prince No.2, Ye Zhou

This photography collection was shot and styled by an young Chinese photographer Lillian Ho, which concept was inspired from the interview < The Rose of the Little Prince: Coco Chow> of magazine’s reporter Su Jinglan. As she said, Coco is a young oil painter, she is eager, restless, talkative and has a kind causal air about her. It seems like everyone is naturally drawn to her, almost as if she is the unique rose from the novel The Little Prince. Which combined with the setting of Coco’s oil painting , and and the technique of prism, that make the two dimensional picture created the illusion of space.
