ok, I'm sorry but I needed to share this story: I tried to come out to someone as ace and they literally thought I meant that I am very cool person, agreed and moved on? I mean thanks but also help? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have to say, that’s kind of a funny reaction, so I guess it could be worse

Maybe explain to them that yes, you are a very cool person, but you had meant ace as in short for asexual? They might need a vocab lesson but it’d cut down on their confusion at least
