Honestly I don't think people understand what happy in 2000 it was florida and a Senate that gave us Bush not Nader, I mean the percentage of votes Nader got didn't effect the election at all, and to top it off their were dems who switched over to Bush like?
Jack looking at houses and apartments in Providence The Realtors like "this one has a really nice big closet!!" Jack's like "oh good bc me and my boyfriend will probably be spending a lot of time in the closet"
Wow, uh. The RW/DE tag is filled with negativity... reminds me of the good old days, browsing certain favorite characters’ tags...
“now we have a new generation of homophobes, they just use fake words like ‘monosexual’ to make it sound like they have some kind of greater agenda so we will never actually be free”
since when is the term monosexual fake lol? and how does it imply a greater agenda? the term has been around for awhile, and no word is “fake”
it’s a fucking descriptor??
that’s it???
there’s polysexual and monosexual, the same way there’s polymer and monomer, and I highly doubt that monomers are out to get polymers tbh. it’s literally just a fucking prefix that you’re getting worked up over
i don’t even--
i don’t understand how someone could be so offended by a descriptor that is neither a slur nor offensive in any way??
and how is the term monosexual homophobic like what the actual fuck
it doesn’t imply that heterosexuals and homosexuals have the same privileges either
it is literally
just a word
as someone who is bi, I’m not offended by the term at all, the same way i’m not offended by “allosexual”.
“monosexual” is used to describe people sexually attracted to one gender, and is useful when discussing biphobia (instead of saying “some gay people, straight people, and lesbians are biphobic” one can just say “some monosexuals are biphobic”, which doesn’t equate privileges of those people, but describes how all are only attracted to one gender...which isn’t homophobic)
if you’re offended by “monosexual” you really need to sort your priorities and realize that it’s no more than a harmless descriptor, and that you’re literally making a huge deal out of nothing
