Let's be honest, Yi and Goumang's love language would be intellectual one-upmanship.
I like the fact that for Yimang, regardless of when it happens, it always takes them forever to realize that they actually like each other.
So... I know it's been a while. I apologize for that, I've been going through some stuff. And it's been making me think about a lot of things, but mostly about my AU. I fear that no one cares for it, and I know people do care for it, and I really do appreciate it. But I fear that I'm making something that no one cares about. I don't know if my AU is good enough for you guys.
This has been Zero, thank you for listening.
Somethings about AU Chien
I just found a comment under one of my posts asking about Chien and her role in SOTR. I was going to wait till a further post to disclose this info, but I thought it meant be best to get it out of the way so here we go. I plan on having Chien serve kinda like a rival to Yi and Goumang, kind of like Hornet from Hollow Knight. What I mean by this is that Yi and Goumang will encounter Chien multiple times, and each time they meet Chien gets more and more mutated. I also plan on having Shanhai 9000 (You know which one) give Yi and Goumang a quest (Not sure how else to phrase it) This being they help it look for it's lost friend (Chien) and in return it will give them useful map data with the map date chips they get off the other Shanhais.
Anyway, but to Chien, I want to have most of there encounters end a fight, just not sure where to place them. I also have an idea how to end the Shanhai and Chien story line, but I'll keep that to myself till I feel like sharing ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) Anyhow, hope that answers their question. To be completely transparent, I still haven't read the Chien Prequel Comic yet, I've been meaning to, I've just haven't gotten around to it.
This has been Zero, and see you, uh... when I see you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well hello! I have read your work and very enjoying doing so, but as i read i notiece that you haven’t mentioned anything about how Goumang would fight before (or maybe i just missing it) i juat realized that when you post the torture sequence so I really want to know!
would also like to see more of goumang and shuanshuan interaction
Hello! Thank you for asking! As for your question at the moment I'm mainly focused on the plot, events, character motive, backstory, etc. When that's taken care of I will go back and add the things I missed. This so I can focus on making this AU the best it can be!
And also yes, there will be more Goumang and Shuanshuan interactions. just give it time. Again thank you for asking, I really appreciate it :]
Made both of these on my phone :]
Extra Context for Au Stuff Part two: Jiequan
Now, onto Jiequan, and the topic that will probably put me on a watch list. Anyway, I’ll be going over the Jiequan torture sequence, the build up to the torture sequence, and Jiequan’s boss fight, cool? Let's get moving. During the second phase of Yanlao’s boss fight, Goumang nearly almost died from one of Yanlao’s punches, but was quickly pushed out of the way by Yi. This is due to two things, firstly, Goumang was in over her head, so she underestimated Yanlao. The second thing is her stabilizer isn't fully attuned to her, so she isn't fully recovered. After the boss fight, the two would get a call from Jiequan inviting them to fight. Goumang would immediately agree, cuz if there was someone she hated more than Nuwa, it would be Jiequan. Yi on the other hand, wasn’t keen on the idea, he knew Jiequan wasn’t looking for a friendly spar, he was looking for blood.
So Yi obviously tells Goumang to go back to the pavilion so she doesn’t get hurt. She would obviously be opposed to this, saying Yi doesn’t let her do anything on her own, and treating her like a child. The two would go angrily back and forth for a good while, finally ending with Goumang reluctantly (And angrily) heading back to the pavilion. With that done, Yi would impatiently make his way to Jiequan, not wanting to piss off Goumang anymore then he had to. When Yi finally got to where Jiequan was, he was surprised to find Jiequan surrounded by a bunch of robot corpses. When Yi asked what happened, Jiequan would say he just got bored waiting for him. After that things would go the same, they would fight, Yi would get his ass handed to him, so let’s move on.
Now, before we move on. We need to briefly talk about Heng. You see, you know how Yi kinda disowned his own sister and told her that they would talk about it? Yeah… they never talked about it. Yi says it was because he was “too busy” which was an obvious lie, the real reason is that he was not ready to face her after what he said. Now that still makes Yi a dick, and he knows this, that’s why he acts the way he does towards Goumang, so she doesn’t have to be alone. Anyway, the reason I’m telling you this is because this will be relevant in the torture sequence.
To get this out of the way, Yi will have two dreams/flashbacks, one being the same one in game, and the other one being a dream where a blue figure that resembles Heng asking Yi why he left her alone, which he doesn’t answer. Okay NOW lets get to the torture sequence. Okay I don’t remember that much about the sequence, so I’m just going to speed through it. When Yi wakes up, he sees Jiequan, knowing his intentions, Yi asks the bigger solarian why he didn’t take him when he was unconscious, to which Jiequan says it wouldn’t be fun if Yi didn’t fight back. I forgot how many times Yi gets tortured in the sequence, so I’ll be skipping where Jiequan mentions Shuanshuan and Shennong.
When Jiequan mentions the two apemen, it pisses Yi off, but what really sends him over the edge is when Jiequan threatens to kidnap Goumang, to which Yi says:
“Keep your… disgusting hands… off her…”
Jiequan finds this hilarious, because from what he remembers, the two of them were practically at each other's throats, but now here's Yi threatening him because he mentioned her name. After this things will go the same, with Yi breaking free thanks to his Mystic Nymph, and him escaping the prison. Now when all of this is going down Goumang is back at the pavilion going through excruciating pain. This is due to her stabilizer, as stated before, Goumang can feel Yi’s pain though not to the same extent, it still makes her unable (And unwilling) to move. After Chiyou brings Yi back to the pavilion, and Yi wakes up, Goumang tells him she’s going to go after Jiequan for him. Of course, Yi being Yi, he’s going to refuse, but before he could Goumang cut him off and tells him exactly how she feels. She tells him that he is always doing so much for her, she just wants to do something for him.
(Not sure if I want to make this a confession or not but we’ll see) Yi not knowing what to say, agrees. So now onto the boss fight.
BOSS FIGHT: It’s the same as in canon, it’s just Goumang slapping the dog water out of Jiequan. Sorry for taking so long, had to fix some spelling and grammar mistakes. If you have any thing you think that meant help improve this AU, please, let me know. New updates will come at some point, have good day/night ヾ(•ω•`)o
Extra Context for Au Stuff
Okay, let’s get the easy stuff out of the way, that being Goumang’s stabilizer, well, it’s a little complicated so I’ll start from the beginning. After Yi and Goumang get their asses kicked, they get picked up by the roots to be healed for 500 years. The thing is the roots could only heal so much, so some of their more serious injuries were mostly unattended to. This is a problem for Goumang, because her lack of a connection to the roots, her healing wasn’t as effective then it was with Yi. Goumang’s body for the most part was fine, well… except for her heart.
As Yi and Goumang spended two years to recover, Goumang’s heart was slowly but surely getting worse. Starting with minor heart attacks, it was nothing to be worried about, that didn’t stop Yi from telling Goumang to take it easy. However she told him it wasn’t a big deal, and not to worry about it, and Yi reluctantly agreed. That was the case before they left the village, as the duo made their way to the pavilion, Goumang would have more and more serious heart attacks. Yi would order her rest, but Goumang would angrily protest. When they made it to the pavilion, and as they listened to Abacus’ expedition dump, Goumang would collapse to the ground and passing out due to heart failure (Not sure if that is how it works but who gives a shit) Yi would be understandably concerned.
As Abacus explains to his master that due to Goumang’s heart being almost fucked up beyond repair, there was little he could do. Thinking this was his fault, Yi would desperately ask if Abacus could give her a rhyzomatic stabilizer to save her life. Abacus said he could, but it would be pointless, firstly, due to Goumang having no connection to the primordial roots, would end up worsening her condition. And besides, there wasn’t a 100% chance she would survive the procedure. Yi then asked if it was possible to connect his stabilizer to her stabilizer to hers. I’m getting tired of writing, and you already know where this is going so let's move on to how Goumang’s stabilizer will function. As stated before Yi and Goumang’s stabilizers are connected via a wireless link, but due to this Goumang’s stabilizer has an interesting quirk. That being if one of them gets hurt, the other will feel the same pain, just not the same extent. More stuff coming at... some point :/
