Oh hey look it’s those last few Canadian au edits I was gonna post a week ago

Ok, so, even though I know football isn’t necessarily considered to be the most “Canadian” type of sports, I need y’all to hear me out on this one. After I read @365daysofrwby’s story for the Canadian au and the part of Yang wanting to be on a hockey team that allowed the use semblances, but ultimately being kicked off because her semblance kept melting the ice, I couldn’t get the idea of Yang playing some type of sport out of my head.

So I was trying to think of some other sports we Canadians like to watch (and yes I myself am a Canadian) that could involve Yang’s semblance, when all the sudden the idea of Football Yang hit me like five football players charging into the opposing player that has the ball. Since Yang ends up as a lumberjack in the Canadian au, I imagine that Yang would’ve played football in her high school days, and that she was one of the best players on her team. Yang would build her semblance up any time people charged into her, and when the ball was finally passed to her she could activate her semblance and just plow through the other team like they were nothing but air. Of course the other team probably complained about Yang and the extra support her semblance gave her and her team, but the coach never kicked her off since 75% of their touchdowns were from Yang.
