DINNER TIME!!!!
The two bit and tore into the centipede as its spasms died out, pulling at strings and coating their teeth in the meaty-sweet, yellow blood. Minutes later, the centipede was nothing short of the harder chitin and the fragments of red armor that once covered and protected it.
[ Good meal. Now no danger in way. ] The eel concluded with a satisfied sigh. The lizard, covered in slightly less blood than it's companion, let out a breath of relief- They were both alive, for now.
The eel crawled up the pile of scrap and into the tunnel they had entered before, and as the lizard moved to follow, a thought crossed it's mind.
"Protect your new friend. Better together than Alone."
The lizard turned back towards the red armor scattered on the floor, considering it, before stepping over and kneeling down to grab the pieces.
