My aunt & uncle live in the countryside, and I can be found there often. Last week I jogged around the neighborhood and farm. I took in the scenery, breeze, and scent (some was animal poo 🐽🐷🐮🐴🐥), but every time I'm there I'm reminded that God made this. He designed the trees, the land, the animals. And lucky for me, he gave me long stretches of road to run to my heart's content.❣️It is in the trees, and the long stretches of road that I feel alone in his arms; covered, cherished, and loved. 💓 Good Night, world! Last night I had a date night with my sista-circle, and we watched The Shack. 🏚I was not prepared for the experience had, but it was amazing. I appreciate that this movie teaches who the Trinity is not. 🚫He does not cause pain, sin, death, illness, and/or darkness. There is a very real ruler of the darkness. But no matter the circumstance, He never leaves us, he makes beauty from ashes, and is a pure and constant love. ❤️This movie also tackles forgiveness, which is huge for me. Admittedly, I've never been a forgiving person. But after seeing this film, and having Christ-centered conversation on life issues, today I woke up in awe of His love, and what it feels like to be his daughter. 🌺🌻🌼🌷| It's Ok 👌|Today was one of those days. I had to run errands with the kiddos (4, 2, 1), each child needed my attention in the most dramatic way, my son lost his fidget spinner (thank God!!!!), my daughter had a potty training blow out and the baby is hungry every 5 seconds, and I had to complete a training for work and kept getting kicked off!! 😱 Needless to say, I found myself extremely overwhelmed and to the point of frustration. In the midst of this, I stopped and said thank you God for my struggles, because life has been worse for me, and it’s been better for me, but it’s never been more close to you than now. I’m proud of my growth in Him.
