The young boy looked up at the woman, eyes growing a little wider as he fully understood what she had said to him. Since being in this strange dream world the manakete had met some interesting people, some that the creator of the world Orion had warned him about trusting.
But he had never said anything about her.
There was something that radiated from her being, something he was far too young to comprehend. However Kana knew she was powerful, or at least something powerful resided within her. Clasping his hands behind his back, he rocked on his heels watching her closely for a moment.
“ I don’t believe that! I just want to make friends since I can’t seem to find my mama and papa… I can’t remember what they look like. But you don’t seem bad… ”
“… You don’t seem so bad…”
“… … … …”
Even as lost and confused as he is, the naivete of a child shines to Celica like a light in the darkness of these ominous halls. However, it isn’t bright enough to blind her from the simple observations of previous conversations— like, for instance, the high probability of Kana being the child of one of the others who reside here who, at the same time, frowns upon her very presence… and with good reason. She may not reach her Lord being caged here, but she still possesses a fraction of His dangerous power; power that could easily injure a seasoned combatant… and even more to an unknowing child.
“ I will warn you only this once, Kana,” she resigns with a sigh, before bending down to his level and matching his curious eyes with a half-stern expression, “I am a Champion of Lord Duma, War Father and Fell God of Valentia. His power is great, terrible… and shared only with his most faithful servants… people like me. The power I have makes others… rightly afraid of me, enough that they would harm me if I make one wrong move. That danger… might also fall upon you… if I become your friend. ...Do you understand?”
