There were times she forgot that this world doesnât hold the norms she has. Thereâs no cars, no computers, nothing of the like. Itâs all like how it was in history. A look of uncertainty of her own came to face. How could she explain her ânormsâ and the phrases she uses for them to understand, using the technology they have? She should be able to explain it all! Sheâs smart! But at the same time⊠her speech sometimes translate oddly in this time.Â
âItâs just another way to say something is very loud. It âscreamsâ as it moves quickly. Uhh⊠Letâs say you use a powerful magic attack. The sound it makes as it soars through the air â itâs something like that. Or, at least, at its very basic level. Trying to explain cars will take more than an evening to explain.â
Seeing Grima brighten up slightly when it came to relishing his feats, she laughed slightly under her breath. Oh no, what can of worms did she open? Was it strange that she was happy He was happy? Or, at least, appeared to be enjoying Himself?
âThatâs quite a feat.â Deadpanned was her speech, attempting to hide her slight rise in nerves. âI have a feeling I wouldnât like to see that in my lifetime. Perhaps another.â Collecting the papers, one loose page fell. One of a rocket, an astronaut floating on the outside with a tube and a planet behind them. âI think thatâs all I need in terms of measurements. Iâll see what I can find and create the costume as quickly as possible.
âFor a dragon of massive power, you can be kind. Thanks for the chat.â Whereas she would normally be playful â the side that the others may know the most â this was said in a caring tone. One of genitive. It got her to distract herself for a small while; a distraction well needed. Even if she didnât feel the need to dig into what was going on around her, she was rather content. Minus the strange feeling in her mind whenever she saw everyone else. With those words, the Summoner began to leave. Melancholy now resettling within her heart.
There was no hiding from His Eyes, eyes that pierced the soul of men. Mayhaps Orion had sealed His power, or most, but it was enough for Him to still witness this.
He could see her uncertainty, nerves, care and melancholy as it happened, and yet He never said a word, for none of this was information to use, to manipulate. Why bother with such a pliable human, willing to indulge Him? To be happy at His glee?
Her explanation, at least, made sense in a way. He wished He could still See properly and fully, and perhaps He would peer into her memory for these... cars. âHm. Unfortunate that my powers are but silenced, or I would See for myself, these cars and these astronauts and ships of the stars.â He commented loosely.
He appreciated the honesty in her of his feats, and thus offered her a simple nod. He cared more for the second bit. âI look forward to witnessing your Creation.â Yes, he most certainly did so wish to see it, for at least the concept was intriguing.
It is her final words that leave Him speechless, and he watches her go in silence.
A strange sort, this human. There was loss there, He knew. She too gave something to the masked man and thus paid a price. He could criticize, but it was His wish that landed him in this size. For lack of a vessel...
With a harrumph, he stalked off. He desired a flight around the grounds, and so a flight he would get. Perhaps it would help him think, or maybe whittle down the dome more. The accursed dome...
