(aaaah if you are still doing these, i would love one) // [DRINK] - sender sets something to drink down in front of receiver. // Yloise: Don't worry. It won't kill you.
The thud of a heavy ceramic mug being set on the counter startled Kitali from her introspection. A dark amber liquid sloshed inside, mildly steaming.
"Here," Yloise said. "You look like you could do with a drink."
"What is it," Kitali asked flatly, eyeing the mug with suspicion.
"Just some tea. Don't worry, it won't kill you."
Kitali fixed her with a glare. "As if that's the only thing I have to worry about."
Yloise floundered a bit under her gaze. "It's just chamomile and lavender and a little bit of valerian with honey, it's supposed to help you relax and you've been under so much stress lately I thought it was just a small thing I could do to help..."
Kitali hesitated, then slid the mug towards her. "You first."
Wordlessly, the elezen took a small sip, making sure it was clear she had actually drank. "There. Perfectly fine," she said as she handed back the cup.
Kitali took a large gulp of the tea without hesitating, wincing at the taste a bit.
"It's the valerian," Yloise said in sympathy.
Kitali nodded absently, gaze becoming unfocused once more.
"Thank you," she said softly.
