On one hand, I really want to believe they were trying to make Buddy’s storyline something more than just crossdressing man as a comedic relief. It's just, the way he was talking to Rhonda how he always kept his crossdressing a secret and now he finally wants to be himself once in his life, and how she genuinely - at least I think so - accepted it and accepted him. On the other, it still came out a lot like "haha, look, dude dressed as a lady" joke and like they just wanted the audience to have a giggle at Nick Offerman wearing a pink dress. I don't know, I feel like it could be handled better.
putting this under the cut just in case, cos spoilers
“Scotty is our foremost expert on Extinction Level Events. I suggest we all listen to what he has to say.” - Arnold Gaines subtly praising his boyfriend
Also that little encouraging nod to Scotty before he starts talking

The actor playing Spike is cute, be he does not look fourteen.
I’d would give him at least 16 or even 18 years old. This way Rhonda’s sacrifice would have more sense, actually, ‘cause the older Spike is, the bigger the punishment for hacking the NSA could be for him.
So in the UK version, when Jude sees Celine for the first time, he says “who the fuck are you?” But in the US version, he says “who the hell are you?” instead.
Like, was it really necessary
