there is literally nothing more awkward or stressful than being asked to write a christmas list when you (a) are an orphan and literally dont belong in this household or family, (b) you have your own income so you can just buy yourself shit you want and (c) when you know moneys tight so you scrounge up like three things all under twenty dollars and add a disclaimer not to worry if you cant get one of them because its not a big deal i can just buy it myself later.
