The Milton Hershey School, Pennsylvania. Home of the Spartans! The Milton Hershey school is a cost-free, private, boarding school that houses low-income families. It’s philanthropic mission has helped millions of K-12 students receive adequate education. With over six billion dollars in assets, the Milton Hershey School is one of the wealthiest schools in the world. Milton Hershey, former CEO and founder of The Hershey Company, created this school in 1909 for underprivileged kids and dedicated the land he inherited from his family to create this school. Just one of the examples of how globalization increases education of youth and creates a positive impact in communities!
