When did they decide to join the Alliance? Was there a breaking point in their life that made them to become a soldier?
Elena alwayswanted to join the Alliance. She is a spacer and she loved the life she had onthe different ships even if it wasn’texactly an easy life.
When was their first kill?
Elena waslucky, she didn’t see much action until the Skyllian Blitz, and she couldresolve tough situations without lethal means. So to actually answer yourquestion: she first killed during the Blitz.
What is their greatest fear?
Feelinghelpless.
Who is their LI and what do they love about them?
Elena firstromanced Liara but evetually she ended up with Kaidan. Liara’s attitude wasendearing – she showed strength and kindness but at the same time she looked atthe galaxy with wonder and the enthusiasm of a scholar. They broke up during ME2so they could both figure out who they were and what they wanted.
Falling inlove with Kaidan wasn’t something Elena planned but he had a way of making herforget about the war which was something she desperately needed. Elena admiresKaidan’s integrity and positivity as well as his intellect and spirit.

Yoann wasnever happy on Earth and he wanted to go to space since his early childhood.However enlisting was a decision he made spontaneously. One day he just feltparticularly lost and he ended up a recruitment office. When he was told theAlliance would probably station him off-world he immediately sign up.
When was their first kill?
He was 16when he killed someone from a rival gang with his biotics. That was his firstverified kill, to be more precise. It was not the first time Yoann used bioticsduring a fight and he did injure people before but he never bothered to checkif they actually died. The thought gave him a lot of sleepless nights afterthat.
What is their greatest fear?
Beingindoctrinated.
Who is their LI and what do they love about them?
Yoannromanced Tali. She was honest and understanding with him in a way few othershave. Their relationship was built on mutual trust and acceptance and Yoannfelt as much at home with Tali as much as she felt with him. Plus she’s Taliwhat is there not to like :)
