40 fucking 5 What a freaking year it has been. On my birthday last year I flew home for my grandfathers funeral. Since then I have spent 67 days in my home town and 74 days on the East Coast. That’s not even mentioning the trips to CA, CO and NV. I spent a total of 91 days 1/4 of the year in a different state. In the last year I became a grandma too. My kids are growing up so fast. I have been away from my extended family for too long. My plan is to spend the rest of my years spending as much time with my family as I can. This morning started off a little weird…I’ll explain more in another post. But I went to brunch with my family and ended it at the beach.
