The best places in kyoto was the myoshinji and yogenin. I couldn't take pictures inside but u can get some post cards at yogenin and a paper that has the picture of the dragon at myoshinji .i've been to the myoshinji many times but it's soooooo fantastic. So big dragon is painted on the ceiling by tanyu kano.i get impressed everytime . yogenin , was the first time going there last year but the art by sotatsu tawaraya was very artistic and wonderful. You could see the blooded ceiling here too.

Blood Ceiling and Nightingale Floor

Sanjusangendo Temple was amazing. Many tourists visit. Maybe 75 - 100 people were there when I visited. Two other people where there when I went to Yogenin Temple.

There was nothing spectacular, promising, or inviting when viewing Yogenin from the outside. Inside was different. One couldn't help but notice the Nightingale floor. These were designed to work in silence so the empty temple meant it could be appreciated.

The temple attendant directed my attention to the blood ceiling. The forms took shape as he described them, much like seeing a constellation for the first time as another points out the stars and how they're related.

Photography was not allowed in either temple.
