INVITED: NEW STRAWBERRY SERIES BY “HEY! I AM YOGOST” @yogost_perth // Last night we got to sample the three new strawberry additions to the Yogost strawberry series from their East Victoria Park store: - Strawberry Peach Yoghurt $7.80 - Strawberry Jelly Mochi $7.80 - Oats Berries Yoghurt $7.60 These cool drinks are just perfect for the hot sweltering weather we have now. I loved the strawberry jelly Mochi most out of the three drinks - the strawberry jelly Mochi was really soft and smooth in texture and unlike normal jellies (not as bouncy). The strawberry peach yoghurt slushie was very refreshing and fragrant with a jasmine tea base. The oats berries yoghurt was the healthiest drink of the trio with oats and the least amount of added sugar, retaining the sour yoghurt taste. I love “ Hey! I Am Yogost” as they are yoghurt-based and it feels like a healthier alternative to sugary bubble tea. The three drinks had just the right amount of sweetness (not too sweet) without specifying that I wanted less sugar. Wu Cha's Mango Yoghurt Drink with Purple Rice. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The yoghurt drink tasted like slightly sweetened plain thick yoghurt that has been thinned down a bit with water or milk. Comparing the taste of this one to Yogost's Yoghurt Drink, I would say Yogost's one taste better. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ There was a fair bit of small chunks of mango in the drink but there was no mango taste in the yoghurt drink itself. Only when you slurp up the mango itself with the drink, that's when you get a small hint of mango taste and texture from the mango. It was hard to suck up the mango as there was more purple rice than mango.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The purple rice was too mushy, it did not have any chewiness to it like Yogost's purple rice which is way better as it is soft but still had some bite or chewiness to it.
