24th Jan
24th Jan is True New Year’s to me bc finals are over! I had the worst 2016, and I couldn’t even reflect on it, it just continued til today. It was really awful. Most of the bad Stuff is what I have made up. But these finals gave me a positive affirmation - that maybe I don’t suck. In fact, I got A’s. In fact, my average is... A. Last time my grades were so perf was in elementary school. My animations were probably ok, but if I built on my first ideas, they would’ve been even better. Yesterday I had a test and there was this question that I “corrected”. You know, I had it right, but overthinking made me lose a point. (How many people cry when they lose 1 point from the whole test?) This adds up to todays lesson. I SHOULD TRUST MYSELF AND MY IDEAS. Once I had my fortune told from the cards :-D and a woman told me that my First idea (intuition) is the best. I asked what is the rest, and she said - criticizm. I can’t tell how many times I’ve put my self or my art down in the past year, but it was for nothing.. Maybe I’m doing better than I think.
