I’d actually have a more positive view of James Cameron’s movies, or at least maintain a neutral opinion if people didn’t constantly act like his movies are the greatest masterpieces to come out of Hollywood, which tend to be forgotten after a few years, not to mention how much of a piece of shit of a human being he is in real life.

Very true. He’s never done a film that wasn’t a popcorn flick. Which is fine, but he should stop acting like he’s done something deep and meaningful. He’s hardly Kubrick.

But that said, outside of the two Terminator films and Aliens, I can’t remember anything he’s done. I know he’s done Titanic and Avatar, but neither film is anywhere near my radar.

It’s overhyped

Most people don’t even remember it. In 2009-10 it was the “HUGEST THING EVAH!!!!” then within a year or so it was forgotten.

plot twist: not a survival game, it’s basically mad max. You’re in a 1976 dodge charger with mini guns on it and you have to fight zombie dinosaurs

maybe a first person shooter aspect too

whats the current status of your jobs since you got a root canal

I’m still stuck here for now. That said, my brother and I vowed that we are leaving the company by my birthday, July 3rd. Hell or high water

really, wth did they do? im not sure i remember correctly, but i kinda remember that you were selling security systems, or something like that?

I was going to sell alarm systems but that didn’t work out. Now I work tech support for a rival of that company but I’m losing my mind at the job now. What they are doing is they have a new tech support structure where I basically just read a structured troubleshooting method and it’s like a one size fits all approach. 

Problem is, rarely do the issues fit in a box like that. So I’m no longer allowed to do the things that I know will fix the problem and now I have to send techs. Which costs the customers money and it’s just a ridiculous mess and I’m tired of it. Plus, I’ve been moved from team to team like three times since the start of the year and my new supervisor I can never get a hold of when I need him and I don’t feel supported to do my job.

Also, they don’t take doctor’s notes when you’re sick anymore and I’ve had a few health problems lately. I might get fired on that alone because I’m having a root canal tomorrow. And honestly? I hope I am.

Appreciate that, thanks man. It’s sad because my current job wasn’t so bad a few months ago. But they made changes where they tie my hands behind my back and now I’m just a glorified information kiosk. And I no longer feel supported to do my job properly. 

Frankly I kinda don’t care. I almost want to try twitch streaming full time. I’ve been making friends there and it’s a ton of fun. I just don’t think it will be able to replace my current income quickly enough. Might try freelancing as a graphic designer again but idk yet.
