Alphys Style-Mimicry #17-20
The fact that I’ve made 20 of these goes to show how inspirational seeing other people’s styles can be, y’know. So many amazing artists!
@kamezaemon has a cool and very modern anime style and it fits well with their UT character sheets they’ve drawn. すごくかっこいいのスタイルね！
@potoobrigham ‘s style is very expressive and stylized--it kind of reminds me of a handful of cartoons that I can’t pinpoint just one I’m thinking of. MLaaTR might be one of ‘em? Oh, and they have an AU comic which is really cool too so check that out.
@drawloverlala has a light and rather cute style. This right here, http://drawloverlala.tumblr.com/post/173232598711/midnight-doodles , is one of my all-time faves with the age chart and the outfit progression. I love how they have Alphys and Sans being friends since childhood! Total bros.
@yokoshimako is probably the only one I’ve seen draw Alphys’s snout flatten from the sides as opposed to the top, giving her a uniquely sharp, almost beaked look. It’s great.
And that’s the first 20 style mimics. I feel like at some point I should try some (or some more???) mimics of other characters, but time will tell. Anyway, onto the next UT piece!
