silmarillion fans being boromir fans at the same time make a lot of sense tbh

sometimes im just hit with the realization that da:o romances are the most appealing romances in the series, like da:o is truly the opposite of da:i. da:o makes up for its ancient graphic quality and clunky rpg gameplay mechanics with its cool lovable companions who are literally my favourite characters in the entire series and romances that are genuinely enjoyable for the most part (i didnt mention alistair’s on this blog and im lukewarm abt his romance but even then i still would like to do his romance at some point), whereas da:i is making up for its range of much lesser romances and much less engaging and lovable companions with more next gen (i mean its a 2015 game made at  the end of ps3 era so its not even next gen anymore) graphic and mechanics and are more accommodating to wide range of players.

i havent been to the grocery stores for a while now cause im living with a family friend currently and i have been working and she’s the one who went out to get food and supplies, so until today, i had no idea that all the cleaning and hygiene supplies at a nearby superstore are sold out. it’s canada. 

there isn’t even that many people anywhere (except for toronto and montreal and vancouver i guess, and im not even at any of these cities). the city only had like, three cases of confirmed coronavirus carrier, all tested positive in the span of last two days (which is already a lot and yeah we are all kinda scared but still we are talking a city with relatively low population density). i guess trudeau’s wife having been tested coronavirus positive really does it huh.

also uh, im pretty sure i have just been #projecting and i misinterpreted the text, but for a hot second there i thought the elf from the first story of tevinter nights climbed up a tree and spotted an individual hundreds of yards away with his naked eyes. like, not gonna lie for a second there i thought dragon age elves have...elven sight....

me reading tolkien’ children of hurin at the age of 13, 14 or whatever, i forget the age, i was a teen ok: it’s a bit too sad? parts of it is a bit too fucked up? but it’s a good tale, i think.

god these old but really good horror games are so fucking cheap on steam right now

the chances of me only downloading and playing some of them three years later is very high bUT, the discount is criminal

Not to start immediately posting my garbage just cause i made some messy sketches without having an emotional breakdown the first time in months but-

Its supposed to be maglor. Maybe i’d add the face tomorrow when i find a good reference from pinterest. Today i was lazy and sketched it without references and it sort of worked.

me looking at l*golas that boring blonde twink’s face and being reminded of the fact that this wood elf is the only elf i will be seeing for most of the trilogy if i marathon all three lotr movies and then immediately losing interest in marathoning the trilogy because of that
