Yondu had never wanted to kill anyone more than he did right now. After the entire Ego fiasco and Yondu managing to survive, he decided he wanted to be around family so he joined forces with Peter and the rest of the guardians. You were about to give birth so Yondu wanted you to be safe and he knew there was no place safer. Once his beautiful baby girl was born he had never felt more alive.
However, this is not what he signed up for. Upon walking to his room after having a discussion with Peter the last thing he expected to see was his Daughter’s crib in pieces.
“That dam Racoon! I swear boy I’m going to string ya alive!” You heard Yondu’s shout, making your way towards him.
“Oh.” You had been hoping that Peter could have fixed your slight problem before Yondu found out.
“Ya knew about it?”
“Yeah, Peter and I were hoping to get it fixed before you realised.that Rocket had decided to use it for parts.” Yondu ran his hand over his face, he was fuming. All he asked was that his Daughters things were left alone and what do that overgrown vermin do, take apart the place in which his Daughter sleeps.
“Don’t you think I would have noticed the change.”
“Peter found one similar. Although he was speaking about some adjustments ” Speak of the devil, Peter entered the room and almost instinctively walked back out.
“Where do ya think your going boy?” Peter turns attempting to look as inconspicuous as possible.
“I was just going to see Gamora.”
“So ya weren’t about to fix your Sister’s crib after that dam Raccoon broke it.” Peter was beyond confused he didn’t quite know what the right answer was. Did he admit the truth or attempt to save Rocket’s ass and admit what he was really doing?
“Well, I was going to do that.” Peter scratched his head as he wondered why on earth how he managed to get himself into this mess.
“Well come on then boy, how about we do this together. Darlin’ why don’t ya go ahead and spend some time with Princess. I and Peter have got it from here.” While Yondu was furious with Rocket would admit that it was thanks o him that he was able to spend some quality time with Peter and be with his only son.
