There were days of the year where it is meant to be celebrated. The day you were born. It’s supposed to be a special day, but how can it be special if the one you love forgot about it?
The morning rays glowed throughout her room and she didn’t feel like moving. It was her special day, but she rather stay in bed than be gifted with so many wishes and presents. She still appreciates the thoughts and all, yet, she wanted to hear it from him. The one who meant the world to her. There were days were they would meet and days where his job took him away from her.
‘It’s bright.’ She thought as she covered her head with her blanket. Her family was expected to be over soon and she didn’t bother getting dressed. Nothing really matter to her at the moment, she just wanted to be left alone a bit longer. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep more. The sun was smiling super bright and she growled from the light.
The door creaked open lightly and footsteps walked in. she didn’t look, thinking it was her mom or someone to wake her up. The person sat on her bedside and a hand brushed her hair softly.
“Babe, why are you still asleep?” a voice called out. She froze and her heart raced. ‘That is not my mom or dad.. WHO?’ she thought.
“Haha, it’s me, wake up~” he cooed closer to her ear. She shifted lightly and slowly turned her head to face the intruder.
“Good morning beautiful and Happy birthday to the lady of my life.” He grinned that famous gummy smile of his.
“Good morning to you too, Bang Yongguk.” She smiled back.
“What does my Krissu want today?”
“… Guess.” She winked.
“I think I know.” He chuckled as he leaned in to give a soft kiss on her lips.
