We have iron and the light of your powers but they… they are devilish, unnatural creatures. We will defeat them, but you must give them no quarter.”
Slamming an elbow backwards in a futile movement she found herself clutched tighter against him than ever, his strength working in his favor as she fought to restrain her power. To win the hard way.
“ You are too impatient, too hasty.” His breath was hot against the delicate shell of her ear, voice so low she could feel it in her bones, “Haste is the enemy of goodness, and we embody goodness.”

There is no simple way to define LeightoningStrike, Webster’s dictionary has absolutely nothing when it comes to this powerhouse creator, supporter, fantastic human being, and a woman I’m proud to call a true friend.
Leighton, AKA DenseHumboldt, AKA DH is truly our fearless leader on this ship. Somehow managing to be kind, funny, caring, and obnoxiously talented all at the same time. Whether it’s setting up the Yonvers Secret Santa, helping writers with their ideas, gifting fics, making art, or even creating this very Yonverino Appreciation Week, there is no way to over exaggerate her importance in this fandom. She is a gift we have done nothing to deserve but will never give back! We love you mama!

Running Cold

Fave fic you wrote: I’m so proud of Allegiant. It’s a story I never intended to write but I couldn’t help myself. It’s also my first work in this fandom and had had a really great fandom mom/beta reader who welcomed me and has been so helpful and supportive throughout. 🥰 @leightoningstrike
Fic you want to rewrite/expand on: I’m regularly doing some smaller changes to previous chapters of Allegiant but nothing more ambitious.
