"You mean besides the countless hours of sex we have?" It was meant to be a joke, a small smirk tugging on the corners of his lips as he glanced over at her in bed, almost lazily turning to his side to fully look at her. Yon-Rogg's expression changed from teasing to almost melancholical and he gave a little shrug. "A lot of things, I suppose. Did you notice I get up at night from night to night?" She must have, otherwise she probably wouldn't have asked to begin with. "How dumb would it sound if I told you I'm partially haunted by what happened in the past?"

“ you want a tattoo of what now ? “

“Your… name,” Yon-Rogg repeated, looking at Carol, all of a sudden feeling like that might have not been the best idea. “Unless you think that’s a bit too cheesy and me overdoing it?” He loved her, there was no denying that, though perhaps that wasn’t truly the best way to show it.

They had been training long into the night, something that Yon-Rogg thought was a good idea considering Vers couldn’t sleep properly given her dreams that, in his opinion, got dangerously close to revealing the truth to her. His plan was relatively simple --- have Vers train so much and so hard that she would, upon returning to her room, simply collapse on the bed and sleep like a baby until morning. She would sleep through the night, him for a change as well, though things never truly could have gotten as smooth as he wanted them to go. 

He was meant to ask when she wanted to meet up in the morning for training, but had forgotten, so here he was now, walking to her room and soon reaching it. It wasn’t that far from the training rooms. He knocked a few times and the door opened. The sight he was met with was something he didn’t expect. It was Vers, completely naked. Yon-Rogg swallowed a bit, then coughed a bit and tried to put on a straight face. “You’re not bad looking, Vers.”
