Kinoe-ranked Iguro Obanai has been sent on a mission to a temple to assist the Sound Pillar, Uzui Tengen. With a heavy, fallen iron bell trapping the demon ever since the night the violence broke out, it doesn't seem there's much a shrimp like Obanai can do, but Uzui suspects this mission may be a test for him, as the Corp is in dire need of another Pillar.
The fallen bell poses a headache in more ways than one, for the locals all cherish it for guiding the paths of lovers in difficulty, and they've been forbidden from causing property damage. Obanai wants to respect that, even if the Pillar he's working under doesn't show any respect for any bit of the temple at all--or for Obanai's privacy!
