florencia is the one who sent the initial SOS text that led to them laying in the grass behind town hall at borderline 1:30 in the morning. she’s always grateful for kai’s company and is always lucky he’s awake when she needs him. still, they’ve been laying here for about five minutes and she has yet to say anything. “my college best friend in back in town,” they begin, trying to really figure out what to say. “we haven’t spoken in awhile...” years. they look at the bandages on their hand from trying to pick up glass just to avoid eye contact with lunara. “seeing them wasn’t easy.”
