:0 do you have any hcs/thoughts on Yoshida + Hara’s relationship?

Canonically, we know they live close by each other, are childhood friends, and since they live close they talk for a bit before both of them head home.
I can see these two being completely comfortable around each other outside of school, especially if they’re at each other’s houses or with their families. They grew up together, you know?
But I believe they got more distant in maybe late elementary school/when junior high began. And my theory is that it was both of their faults, but mainly Yoshida’s.
At some point, he got a lot closer with Muramatsu and Terasaka. The three of them bonded over being “outcasts” of sorts, and didn’t want to conform to the rest of what Kunugigaoka was like. Basically, you get the gist.
And in the midst of this, Yoshida changed up his image. He adopted a tougher look, got dreadlocks, etc. And I think he also distanced himself from Hara because of his new changes.
I kind of feel like joining 3-E was the first time they we’re back to being friends. And even if there was a bit of awkwardness, clearly they got close again. They’re in the same friend group, interact quite a lot, still talk on the way home, etc.

Hara is reassuring him 🥺 Even when her life is on the line and she feels like shit, she makes sure that he’s okay.
I definitely feel like in this dynamic, Hara would be more proactive in their interactions and reach out first.
But I HC that Yoshida can read her better than she can to him. He’s the first to notice if she’s sad, mad, etc no matter how well she hides them. He’s very attuned to her and will try to comfort her in some way, get her mind off it. His endearing attempts definitely cheer her up.
They’re also the type of friends who everyone knows care about each other deeply...possibly in a romantic way...but no one will tease them about it. No one will even point it out or talk about it. Seeing these two together, even just standing next to one another, is so natural. They clearly are important to each other, it’s so obvious.
Also everyone just respects Hara way too much to tease her
Anyways to end this, please imagine these two wearing matching leather jackets and riding one of his motorcycles. They’re on their way to have a picnic with amazing food she made. 🖤
