Come on, apologize
summary: You’ve been hanging out with your friends a lot recently and it’s driving Love insane.
warnings: drugging, kidnapping?,
this has been sitting in my drafts almost finished for thirteen days…
disconnect : break the connection of or between
Busy. you were always busy. busy helping someone, busy at your job, busy feeding the cats, busy at the grocery store.
You never had free time or you just never had time for Love. That couldn’t be true, could it? No of course not. You loved her and treasured your time together. She was just worrying.
Love picked up the phone and clicked the “call” button under your contact.
ring…ring…ring…
“hello?”
Her heart fluttered with joy “Hey! I was just calling to see how you were doing.” She bit her bottom lip anticipating your answer
“Oh. I’ve been doing good how about you?”
“I’m doing okay I just miss you-”
“Love sorry I gotta go”
She nodded and sighed she’d expected this “bye love you”
the phone hung up.
Love tapped her fingers on the cutting board. She inhaled knowing she’d have to go through with her plan. She grabbed the flour from the shelf, She just hated she had to go through with it, but as long as it kept you with her she was willing.
love: an intense feeling of deep affection
You didn’t come home until it was 5 pm, She was in the kitchen making cupcakes. “Hey,” You said smiling at her. Your smile was so beautiful, it almost made her anger go away.
almost
“Hey!” Loves voice sounded cheerful even though she felt nowhere near positive. She smiled up at you and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. “The cupcakes should be done soon” You nodded and sat down in front of the counter. “So what were you doing?” she asked gazing up at you. “Oh, I was with my friend Nina.” You rambled on about what you were doing with Nina all day but she wasn’t listening Love was lost in her thoughts.
The oven beeping brought her back to reality, She looked up from the board and at you smiling, she grabbed the oven mitts and pulled the cupcakes out of the oven. Placing them on the counter and leaving the mitts beside it.
“Are you okay?” You asked thrumming your fingers on the table. Your face was concerned. She nodded. “Yeah I’m fine,” she said. “Okay. Well, I’m gonna go take a shower.” You said. “Okay,” she said
She watched you walk up the stairs and when she heard the water start running she pulled the pills out of her pocket. Crushed them up and mixed them in with her a small container of pink frosting.
Only yours could be contaminated.
You were in the shower for about half an hour before you came downstairs, wet hair clinging onto your neck and water droplets on your arms. She smiled at you motioning for you to come over.
You walked towards her and she held a cupcake in her hands. You smiled at her and took it from her hands. “I made these this afternoon while you were gone I thought it would be nice to give you a treat.”
you took a bite not noticing love watching intently, she wiped the pink frosting off your lips and stuck her frosting coated thumb in your mouth, you smiled and she giggled. After you finished you got up to throw away the cupcake wrapper.
You grabbed the counter and turned around. “Huh” you said looking down at the floor, “What’s wrong?” Love asked. You shook your head “I’m not sure” you said
“I just feel-”
your hand slipped and you collapsed on the floor letting out a cry in pain, you were paralyzed. Love walked over to you slowly a small smile on her face. “feelin’ a little sleepy?” She asked pushing back a strand of your hair. “Come on baby let’s put you to bed.” She grabbed you by your arms and dragged you up to the bedroom.
Your head hit the soft cushion and you almost immediately fell unconscious.
obsessive: of the nature of an obsession
You woke up handcuffed to a bedpost. You felt dry tears on your eyes and your eyes wandered around the room searching for Love or a chance of escape. The door creaked open and she stuck her head in with a smile on her face holding a glass of water.
Love walked over to you and sat the glass on the bedside table. “I’m gonna give you some water okay? please don’t scream. I don’t like keeping you like this”
Keeping you like this? You thought, You hadn’t asked her to drug you and then drag you to the bedroom. She pulled the gag out of your mouth and she placed the cup to your lips and you swallowed the cool water.
She pulled the cup away and then sat it on the table. Her warm hand held your cheek and she sighed “Y/n I just want you to know that I love you okay and I promise I’m only doing this to keep you safe” Her brows were furrowed and you could tell she was close to tears. “Just after losing Forty I can’t lose you too. You mean so much to me and I can tell that you’re losing interest in me! You’re pulling away from me and…and you’re always with someone else” She wiped her tears away and looked away from you to the other wall.
You almost felt bad for her. It felt like she was the victim in this situation even though she was keeping you handcuffed in her bedroom against your will. She loved you, even though she was showing it in the worst way possible you couldn’t help but want to forgive her. She needed you and in a way, you needed her.
You leaned forward the best that you could and looked at the back of her head, “Love?” She turned her head toward you“I’m sorry” you said. She sighed in relief and gave you a small smile wrapping her arms around your torso. Her head was buried in the crook of your neck and you felt her hot tears on your collarbones and then she started sobbing.
you forgave her, you knew that the situation wasn’t “ideal” but you didn’t care. you loved her.
