You know I spent a long time in YA booktube and I recently found adult SFF booktube and I must say, I’m really enjoying the books featured
#one of the guys I follow really hates the name of the wind but idk why bc I don't want to be spoiled#(which is rare but I think this story would be better without knowing what happens)#(all I know is that kvothe doesn't actually kill a king in the first book)#(the series is called 'the kingkiller chronicle')#apparently the name of the wind is kvothe's life story as told by kvothe#I heard a lot of ya booktubers say that it's what actually happened#and I'm like no#that's not how chronicling your life goes#you exaggerate#pretend not to have flaws#you know stuff that would be distinctly different if it was told as is by the author
