who cooks normally?: gene always cooks because babe accidentally burned himself the first and second and third and fourth time he tried and gene got tired of hospital food
how often do they fight?: barely because they’re the couple that gets each other on the instinctual level and knows when to give each other room and stuff but when they do fight it’s a huge one but rly doesn’t last long because gene can’t stand not knowing if babe is alright and happy and babe just hates making gene upset or sad or anything that’s not completely happy
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: whenever they’re apart it’s due to work so if gene has to stay the night somewhere else or something or one of them is home alone they usually read or just enjoy the fact that they’re alive and well and home

who started the relationship?: they discussed it together but eventually gene was the one who offered or well wtv you’d call starting the relationship

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: babe essentially flips out when he hears there’s an accident at the construction plant but he obviously can’t do much without giving them away but regardless he’s there at the hospital as gene’s first contact and as soon as the door is closed he cries and holds gene and kisses him as hard as he dares in public BUT when babe gets hurt in this car accident gene is there as his first contact too and he just sits beside babe calmly and subtly holds his hand and nurses him back to health with a smile and soft kisses but it’s when he’s alone that he freaks out
