This Queen of the Nile hangs on the wall of our front room. I did this back in "96". I used the split part of some veg. tanned leather that I was working with. After I split the leather for an order I had I took the discarded part from the garbage and decided to make the face. The head piece came lateron also from scrap. After a few hours of mounding the wet leather, I attached the painted head piece and my friends father made the frame which I finished. I have just finished my first week of work. I never thought I would make it to where I am now, in the last 3 years i have gone from failing badly to completeing a degree and finding a job. Turns out hard work pays off!
