YOU ZHANGJING. he wasn’t known as 尤老師 / Teacher You for nothing! I dont think anyone can deny that zhangjing is amazingly talented at singing. he not only can hit a wide range of notes strongly, he also controls his breath really well and has a very unique vocal tone that can convey raw emotions and belt out crazy high notes. In order to teach others, I’m assuming he also has to be super aware of what he is doing as he is singing, so that he can describe it to others and correct them when they’re making mistakes too, which requires a lot of understanding of singing itself.
I’m sure we’ve all seen him perform on Idol Producer, and also most people have probably heard the two OSTs he’s released since debuting with nine percent (Ao Hong Chen and Crystal Sky of Yesterday – when I first heard Crystal Sky of Yesterday, i was just like oh my goodness you zhangjing is too talented wow his voice is just amazing.) But I gotta take this opportunity to share some pre-idol-producer Zhangjing singing videoooos
and also as a member of nine percent, he still !! slays !! every !! stage !!! fancams of I Will Always Remember, Forever, It’s Okay, etc. havereally proven what an amazing singer he is :)
even tho he’s been dancing throughout the song, his high notes are always stable and always super strong, it’s like how is this boy even possible/??? words cannot describe his talent.
