Seconds are left on the clock when someone taps you on the shoulder and hands you a folded up note, that’s obviously been wrinkled and re-written several times. ‘I’m so sorry for disturbing you, but I think you’re beautiful and I wanted you to know,’ it reads. The signature at the bottom is small, and hardly legible, but you would know that neat scrawl from anywhere.
