Torontonian here - I too am not sure why we keep the traditional building while mashing modern architecture on it but it's a pretty popular technique especially for condo developments to keep the face of the previous building (so that we don't lose our past architectural history I guess??) while making the inside modern and adding levels.

Melbourne to some extent does it but like, we don’t mash it together so it looks like buildings are being absorbed???

ANYWAY I look forward to seeing it for myself in June XDDD

Reading your tags for the It's Okay that's Love photoset - I'm guessing you would highly recommend it (so that I can bawl my eyes out)?

Here’s a post about it with pretty much all the reasons why I love it so much. I could only watch this series once, though, because it can get very heavy and very emotional.

I HIGHLY recommend it, and the cast are just phenomenal.

8. My biggest surprise?? Having Manu Benett kiss my sweaty weepy head and telling me that I was wonderful as he took the picture I drew of him.

16. I met so many cool and remarkable people this year, but if anything I felt I took all of my valuable relationships to the next level. I feel so loved and cherished, and I have people in my life who I can love and cherish too!

45. I expect myself to grow more! Take ownership of my life and create content I can be proud of!
