Cecilia Kupera ( Cee )

Young Zimbabwe has been rising up and showing the world that age is just a number to what they can do as young people. 18 year old Cecilia Kupera who goes by the name Cee or CeCe is one of those young people who has started her career at a young age. Born in the  Zimbabwe and grew up in Harare, she was inspired by the strong determined African women who are willing to risk their lives for the love of a child.

After a successful short career as a beauty queen, in under a year she won numerous titles at pageants.

She is the founder of Effuse Magazine, which  is an upcoming magazine that promotes fashion, travel, models, and cultural arts across the world. The magazine will be working with different artists and entrepreneurs to inspire the young and the old and also focuses on Inspiring, Empowering and Education through information and networking.

The word 'effuse' represents a way of emitting, pour out and giving off; just like how as a brand our content and features will not only satisfy your eyes but also bring benefits in your life towards reaching your success.  With Effuse Magazine you won't miss out on what happening around you. Bringing alive the creativity of the mind and soul. 

The magazine will be launching very soon,having competed with Cee at pageants and being part of Effuse I'm so excited for her and everyone to finally see her vision, that she's been tirelessly working on.

Ever heard of Hip Hop Gospel and Dancing? Well this trend has become very popular among the youths including two Zimbabwean born teens Amos & Sabaoth aka Aytrick & KPr0digy a dancing duo from Birmingham spreading the gospel through their dancing.

The boys started in church dancing to regular praise songs at the age of 7/8, whilst also learning from Nyasha Zengeya and his dance group back in R4CA. As they grew up they joined the Birmingham overcomes dance group. At the time Amos was the one teaching the group so they started learning how to make choreography and steps. As time went, the boys were inspired by other street dancers including Les Twins. Les Twins had a huge impact in their lives with concept “New Hip Hop Style”. Which was different from the other styles, that’s when they started taking their dancing to another but shooting youtube videos and live performances.

What do you see yourselves doing in the future?

  " We want to travel around the world and do workshops, tours, performances… we want to do all sorts. But at the same time we want to inspire people and contribute a positive messages to people about Jesus and to save souls, encouraging them to "never limit yourself in life" and keep grinding through Gods grace, pray about your talent, train hard & put in work"

Behind every great artist is a great team, cliche, yes but very true and one of those great people is the very talented Zimbabwean born Tinashe Nyepere aka Tee Kay who's directed videos for some of the best African artists and lots more. What started of as a hobby has become a career for Tee Kay moving from music production to video's.

  'To be the best you have to surround yourself with the best' Tee Kay took this quote seriously being mentored by Top Nigerian director Sesan Ogunro. He's worked with Luke Biggins (director), Moe Musa (Director), Clarence Peters (Director). But works along side his mentor Sesan. Artist wise he's worked with Dbanj, Ice Prince, Brymo, Fuse ODG, Sarkodie, Wizkid, Davido, Banky W, Lynxxx, Flavour, Iyanya, Roll Deep, Mark Morrison, Maxta, Martika LA, JME the list is endless!!

Whats been your proudest moment?

  "My proudest achievement so far is hearing my mum say I'm so proud of you based on the choices I make in life, my career and stuff. The feeling when a parent tells you they are proud of you is too much" 

Who would you like to work with in the future? 

"I want to work with everybody. I really wanna work with everyone I mean that.

Well I'm with SDKN Production also Film Factory Nigeria. This year has a lot planned besides of music video we are working on some things I can't even talk about now but come summer time it should all be out there" 

This young gentleman has a bright future ahead of him.

#3 Fashion Mutant- Calister

Number 3 on my list is the is the VERY talented Calister who is known by her blogger name (Fashion Mutant). Zimbabwean born fashion journalist student. DIY Guru who loves adding a touch of herself to everything she wears. Her articles have been featured on several online magazines and her blog has ignited creative fashion trends.

She's on my list because she's proved that she's a trend setter with so much to bring. Influencing thousands of bloggers and fashionistas all over the world. 'Black Girls Killing It' have crowned her the best tutorial blogger on their blog.

Here's what inspired Calister in her own words......

"what inspired me to Fashion Mutant was the fact that when you open a magazine they're always telling you what you need but with my blog I hopped to help people make do with what they already have through DIYs"

She caused some serious traffic on her blog, with her most popular post to date.

" AlI i wanted to do was to make a customised iPhone case. I went on eBay looking for those Chanel logos to stick on the case, i bought these, when they arrived i was pissed coz they looked totally different to what i wanted/ expected so i didn't know what to do with them until this idea popped into my head, i was like hey i could totally stick these on my nails, and right there ,ladies and gentleman is when this masterpiece was invented. Beautiful mistake or what. UkTrends even posted them on their insta and tumblr people seem to love them. When I got bored with black i change them to red."

The picture went viral so its hard to estimate how many people viewed the post but has gained over 10 thousand notes (likes & reblogs) on (Tumblr) alone.

"sup mutants so this weekend i was on some next creativity state of mind and had my DIY pants on. decided to 'revamp' my black CK shorts which i thrifted as trousers. I use white tape to cut out some cross on one side n then put strips the other side. they turns out alryt i guess. hope u guys had a great weekend. 5days till xmas going on a diet for the next 4day so that i leave enough space for all that delishhh xmas food"

The idea was inspired by Rihanna when she wore hers to the Victoria Secret Show 2012. The entire process was quite simple actually and i ended up using the glasses for my final project shoot which was pretty cool"

We make his heart skip a beat, We want to know his status…. Now he wants us to shake it Zimbabwean UK based artists have been taking their music to another level all in the hopes of attracting a wider audience. Joe Shyna is one of the artists who's been making girls fall in love with him and guys sing along to the sound of his afrobeats. You might not be terribly familiar with him yet, but you will very soon. In the last 2 months he's released 2 videos and 3 songs. His debut single ' Make My Heart Go' brings vintage burlesque afrobeats to life.
