Apparently Sid loves history so I feel like the prompts of watching a movie they enjoy + the one underneath it would be cute for him

♡ sidney is so the "the ancient egyptians believe" bf. always gotta bust out a random fact for you. it amplifies when you're on vacation.

♡ but when you're at home, nothing going on, nowhere to belive, he's turning it to the history channel with a bowl of popcorn ready to watch the most boring shit. ancient aliens? he's seen every episode. a show about the aztecs and their lost gold? he's convinced he knows where it is.

♡ "what is this one about" and he goes on and on about how the aztec people group brought gold with them and how it's left in the now american west cave system, but because it's been thousands of years nobody can get to it bc of the landscape changes

♡ and you're just "blah blah blah backstory stuff" bc his face lights up, while literally talking about native americans who lived thousands of years ago! and how even if it was found what good would it do! but it's fine...bc he is actually so invested in this.

♡ don't even get him started on ancient nordic history...

this one? this is sidney and younger!gf on winter holiday somewhere in the mountains. renting a cabin, he’s teaching you how to ski, and after a long day of outdoor activities and shopping an hour in the hot tub is a non question option.

you’re both giving each other half ass massages, little words exchanged, kisses where they see fit. then eventually he just rests his head against your chest and lets you hold him. it’s the most relaxed he’s been in a while, feeling his muscles completely go soft.

then naturally of course his hands fumble around with the strings of your bathing suit, til eventually it falls and starts floating in the water and all he has to say is “oops”.

he doesn't get offended though! he thinks it's sweet. most of the time he'll wait for the show to finish before taking you to bed. he enjoys this small space where time stops and you're using him as a pillow. that lets him know he's done his job- you're comfortable enough around him to fall asleep. it warms his heart. he carries you up to bed, he changes clothes and gets back into bed, smiling when you snuggle up against him while he puts on another show on the tv in the bedroom.
