to the anon talking about justin's gsa, we have one at my high school and it's really popular and a safe space where you dont have to come out and everyone there is equal regardless of sexual orientation

Ahh interesting, thanks for sharing! We had one at my high school, but it was really small and heavy on the “gay” part of its mission and almost nonexistent on the “straight.” Plus there was enough homophobia in the school that I think a lot of people (sadly, myself included) were afraid to be associated with it due to the social stigma. Granted, I graduated high school in 2006, so I’d hoped that would have changed by now. Really glad to hear that’s the case, at least in some schools!

1. What is your favorite fic you have under your belt?

yikes maybe it’s so easy in this blue or is there somewhere because i put a LOT of time, effort, and love into both & i’m for once very pleased with how they both turned out, even after the fact. some of my fics that i’ve been like “this is my best EVER” or “the writing is SO GOOD” i look at months later and i’m like “….ew???” but those two i’m still super proud of. that, and this 7k fic in my drafts that won’t see the light of day for another couple of months, but that turned out even better than in my head.

5. What’s your favorite headcanon you use in fics?

hmm not sure?? i generally hc karen as ending up in a happy polyamorous relationship and mandy as being whisked away by a rich northsider who finds her crudeness charming. i’m sure i use other hcs but at this point i probably consider them canon and can’t remember for the life of me what they are. i guess that ian, mickey, and mandy share an apartment for years? but that’s pretty widespread.

11. What’s a fanfic idea you haven’t done yet?

i have exactly 100 words in an ian/mandy s2 fic and i’m not *exactly* sure what it’s about yet but i know it’s kinda angsty and from mandy’s perspective and is a nice exploration of their friendship and how their best friendship is, in its own right, written in the stars.
