"But, Ms. Swain said". Sigh. Ms. Swain did not say you should round everything when trying to figure out ratio equivalents. It is fine to do this when rounding to the nearest cent, but if you round 15/20 and 10/15 to the nearest one, they are equal, when, in fact, they are very much *not* equal. I'm not sure Ms. Swain understands how my little guy expects the homework to match the classwork. I do believe the rounding worksheet they did in class was all money and he was supposed to round, but he has a very hard time understanding that the homework might be a bit different and why. He went with my instructions, but swears he'll get it wrong and I'll need to pay him to make up for it. :-)
Waiting for me when I got home yesterday. :-)
A close up of the hooligans. :-) I had to get out, as my fingers were pruny. :-)
Slice of conversation at dinner last night with my kids. "Do you know what RIP means?" "Yes, rest in pieces."
Hmmm ... the little boy, whose big brother, while still next to him at night, is now behind a shut door, has spent the past two nights with me and the puppy. :-). That's OK, it won't be too long before there aren't any more babes who want to spend the night with me, and what will I do then?
