1, Elysium/Honor Him/Now We Are Free - Gladiator

Cause...honestly. It's one song, isn't it? Kinda. This one just...it's so heart-breakingly beautiful.

2, Final Ascent - No Time To Die

Gosh, this song is...it's a real killer. I mean, the scene itself is already so...well. The song then...even without seeing the scene you know what's going on. Unfortunately I can't listen to it that often because I cry. Literally. Every single time. No song before has managed to do that.

3, Time - Inception

The way it is increasing? Beautiful! Also every time I listen to it I can see Hans Zimmer in front of me, playing it on the piano. That was such a wonderful experience! The way he was playing it was just...magnetising!

4, Under the Stars - The Lion King

For...sentimental and very personal reasons.

5, Chevaliers de Sangreal / Life Must Have Its Mysteries - The DaVinci Code / Inferno

It's basically the same song, just in different variants. I love them both. Can't decide which version is better, honestly!

Different. Was the word he used when talking about people like them. Those with mutations that conducted special abilities. Mutants.

The word was still foreign to her, though finally having a title to the question that hung over her head for most of her life. Though freak or broken held a much heavier weight, feeling like rocks in her shoes.

“I don’t understand.” She began, sitting at the table of the diner she worked at, having been on her lunch when the gentlemen walked in and essentially uprooted her life. “How did you...find me? I thought-“ She gulped down her reservations, gaze low and grip tight as her fingers interlocked together, fiddling over the table. “I thought I was alone.”

Finally, she looks at him—this man—Charles Xavier. The answer to all her questions. But, even this sense of relief was shielded by walls, fiddling in the booth as she cleared her throat, watching her surroundings. “But, unfortunately you’ve come to the wrong place.” She whispers, leaning in. “Because this...gift...or whatever you call it. It doesn’t...it doesn’t work. I’m not...special.”

What he was offering, this sense of security—a community even—was too good to be true. It didn’t—couldn’t apply to her.

A tight frown settled along the telepath’s lips. “And what good would that do, old friend?” sighed Charles. “You’d simply have more blood on your hands.”

Old friend?... That term again, spewed so effortless and gentle from Charles’s mouth only heightened Erik’s animosity. As far as he was concerned --- two people who disagreed so fundamentally they nearly spoke different languages were absolutely not to be considered friends. Not now, and perhaps not ever. No matter how badly he might wish otherwise.

i feel like hailey will have SO MUCH DISCOURSE surrounding her, dude 🤦 i legit tried to write a novel about hailey’s backstory in the summer of 2018 and the whole time i couldn’t stop thinking that she will be called out for everything that makes her hailey. she’d be called out for being a “manic pixie dream girl” (which she IDENTIFIES AS btw, so idgaf) but also for being childlike, naive, overly optimistic, very emotional, passive, and everything that makes a “bad/weak” female character. except that the strength it takes someone to be able to remain so kind and supportive and optimistic after the kind of trauma hailey faced? bitch, please. hailey is STRONG AF and she will be dismissed as a “weak female character” because she’s an unrealistic optimist. and you know??? hailey KNOWS she’s naive. she KNOWS most of her hopes may never be met by the universe, but she CHOOSES to be this way because if she isn’t, who will be? hailey may not be actively leading her brothers’ hunts and mastering hand-to-hand combat, but she IS EXACTLY WHO SHE NEEDS HERSELF TO BE. and to me? that is enough. fuck the (hypothetical) fanon depiction of my self-identifying manic pixie dream girl. hailey wins the strong female character olympics, okay? okay

OMG they’ll definitely have a huge fight, but I see them making up right after because neither of them could imagine walking out on the other after what happened. They would end their fight with something final like yelling “FINE” or “WHATEVER” and then Hailey will just hug him and cry and say she’s sorry
