“Jesus fucking Christ!” Fucking werewolf hunters. He’d thought they’d gotten rid of them, but apparently, there’s a new group after him. He doesn’t expect what comes next, for Roman to shove him up against the wall with his body against his and taking a goddamn bullet for him.

Eyes widen in surprise and horror. The bullet would have no doubt killed him and caused him extreme agony, it’s laced with mercury, and unlike Roman, he can die from bullets. Breath hitches in his throat and for a moment he is frozen in his spot.

That is, until he hears the sound of feet colliding against the ground - they are running. Probably didn’t realize Roman was an Upir and thought they’d just killed some poor human. “Fuck! Shit! Roman, what the fuck did you do that for?! Are you alright?” Stupid question. “Shit - do you need blood?” Because he can give him his own - it’s the least he can do for Roman taking a fuckin’ bullet for him.

     Her words hang in the air in a way that seems as if she doesn’t care whether anyone even hears her. The crowded hallway of her new high school swells with people turning their heads and staring at her, the new girl, dressed like she is going to a funeral with leather gloves covering her small hands. Lux can’t give any more fucks about people staring at her, or the rumors circulating that she’s a nutcase on Dr. Norman Godfrey’s list of well-paying nutcases. Feeling the intense weight of the wandering eyes on her, she snaps--

     “Get a good look at me, fuckers, before I kill again!”

     With a bit of flourish, she shoots a group of whispering students the middle finger and stalks down the hallway toward her next class.

hazel eyes shoot in the direction of the wealthy benefactor of the private party when she heard him enter the room. there’s something familiar about him that she can’t quite put her finger on to the point where she does a double take, almost forgetting the reason why she’d beckoned him into the green room in the first place. she manages to regain her composure, arms crossed against her chest as she refused remain still in her chair; much to the dismay of the makeup artist. “are you mr. godfrey?” ally doesn’t wait for him to respond, “whoever’s in charge here forgot my honey lozenges and peppermint tea. they were in my list for a reason. tell me... would you perform under these conditions? no!”

head lifted from his chest with her brows furrowed in confusion at his words, the linked fingers she had been playing with coming to an immediate pause. from where her mind was there were two options: one, smile and return the sweet words, or two, call roman out on his BULLSHIT. what kind of hypocrite would elettra be if she didn’t stay true to herself? a pause in her words as she began to mess with his fingers while sprawled out in their shared bed, it took a moment for the smile to return and signal that he was in for a world of trouble. “yeah, right. if you loved me you would have grown some balls and told me sooner!”
