BE THE LEAF
“Fuck”
As much as Andy didn't like 'how Aquene was treating him, even he knew that he would react the same way if Aquene came to him, asking the same questions. However, once Aquene mentioned elsewhere, something in Andy's head clicked. "Elsewhere! That's it! You're a genius!" Andy exclaimed, "I'm out of place. Must have been a hyperspace accident. Now how am I going to get back?"
“Hyper… space?” The therapist looked very confused now. “Perhaps you should tell me more of this world you come from. Right now the only thing I can think if is directing you to the Avatar, but she is the bridge between this world and the spirit world…”
"Avatar? Fire Lord?" Andy blurted out, looking at Aquene like she was a lunatic, "Are you crazy? Nations are ruled by Presidents or Prime Ministers and no one attempted to make a city to tie them together." Andy paused for a moment upon saying this. He then said aloud, "This means one of two things: Earth was fixed in the future or I'm in the past."
She looked a bit perturbed at the look he gave her, her arms crossing in front of her defensively. At being called crazy Aquene bristled slightly.
“Or you could just be elsewhere all together,” she pointed out. “Though if you believe me to be crazy, sir, then you may wish to keep your words to yourself when it comes to others. Not many take kindly to being called crazy.”
"I came from Earth too, but most people pursued life on other planets because Earth became a desolate wasteland. In fact, Earth only looks this good in our storybooks," Andy replied, trying to also figure out what she meant by Union of Nations. "But when did the nations become a Union?" Andy asked, "I thought they stopped existing when everyone moved out."
Spirits, what was he talking about? Aquene shook her head. “It happened a while after Avatar Aang took care of the Fire Lord.” Lips were pursed slightly. “And all the other nations still exist separately but this city was made as a world effort to tie the nations with peace after a hundred years of war.”
"Also do you mind telling me where I am? This looks like Earth but where I'm from Earth isn't this lively." Andy asked, as he looked around, hoping to find something recognizable.
“You’re in Republic City, in the United Republic of Nations,” she answered, wrapping her arms around her midsection. “And we call this earth as well.” A small frown marred her face for a moment before smoothing away. “Where on your earth do you hail from? Maybe we can find something similar here?”
O Oberon
O Oberon: I’ll write about my character getting angry at yours over something they did.
((You stinker. Aang doesn’t get mad at his family in the conventional way (Air Nomads like peaceful conflict resolutions)! >_> Ah well, game time!))
Meelo had done the most surprising thing.
He farted on Aang’s reincarnated hand and on his spirit hand (Aang’s spirit was there still trying to warn Korra)
It was…weird.
He was rather unhappy his grandson just farted on him.
He couldn’t ask why even.
He just had to sit there and wonder…
“Did my grandson just re-invent Fartbending?”
"I am sorry for such rude behavior. I guess it's only proper I introduce myself. I am Andy von de Oniyate, the greatest cowboy in the galaxy, and this is my noble steed, Onyx!" Andy boasted as Onyx whinnied.
“Well then, it’s nice that I have an actual name to go with the face,” she said, laughing quietly. “I am Aquene. I thank you for your apology, Andy.”
"Sorry about the feel, but riding off into the sunset is a cowboy's romantic farewell. It makes the lovely lady look forward to catching this elusive being again."
“Forgive me, sir, but it’s kind of hard to look forward to that when he uses a lady’s chest as an armrest without so much as a ‘by your leave’ or a name,” she pointed out, arching a brow at him.
