I have a small head cannon that Pink Diamond was the youngest, most cheerful, kinda dorky and silly, so she one day came up to the other Diamonds and said “Hey guys! You know what we should do? We should greet each other like this!” and does the NOW Diamond salute as she starts giggling happily at how “cool” her idea was and the other kinda just laugh it off, but once she is “shattered” they make all their subjects do the salute in honor of Pink Diamond who created it. Thoughts?
