2 KINGS S.O.A.P. ~ CHAPTER 6
Tuesday, 9/2/25
SCRIPTURE:
One of them said, “Please come with us, your servants.” Elisha said, “Okay, I’ll go.” ~ 2 Kings 6:3
OBSERVATION:
In the preceding verse, Elisha said, "Do it!"
His response here is a classic leadership principle: Don't ask others to do what you're not willing to do yourself...
Which is what Jesus said and did when the Father sent Him to be among us...
...and what I need to remember and say when He tells me through His Word... "I'll do it..."
...reminding me that I am His servant...
...and that He always goes with me in doing His will...
APPLICATION:
Go with Him as His servant...
Obey...
Lead in obedience...
PRAYER:
Father God, I ask forgiveness for stalling and putting off what You clearly want of me... May I lean into Your Holy Spirit's strength and power to do Your will instead of simply following my own willfulness, and may He remind me to not be afraid as You are more than anything that distracts or comes against me... Thank You for Jesus's example and sacrifice that allows me to come before You, in His Name, in worshipful praise, seeking Your glory and honor...
Going... in Him...
