Do you guys think I should write for other stuff besides Harry Potter?
Like Marvel, Twilight, Sherlock, Stranger Things, etc..?
Or should I stick to HP?

CTM/Turnadette Thoughts?
I mean, so far for the Turners, their journey has been met with many difficult and joyous moments. Currently, everything has fallen into place, from an unit of 3 to a set of 5. However, I can’t help but think what Heidi has in store for them. One subject of personal and perhaps, spiritual distress that comes to mind is the Contraceptive Pill.
The Pill hasn’t been mentioned much since Series 5. We did see throughout Series 6 the underlying tones of disagreement (and shame) the Pill has elicited. For Series 7, I am expecting a more in-depth debate to take place and my mind can’t help but drift towards Shelagh. I mean, we all pretty much assume that Patrick & Shelagh have never taken contraceptive measures (especially during colonial climate 😉). Now with the addition of Baby Teddy, I wonder if a discussion will take place between Patrick & Shelagh.
The possibility of having a child together isn’t improbable, it is possible. Will they want another addition? Will Shelagh face personal and spiritual distress if she takes an active (even a more assertive) role towards the Pill? Or will it be Patrick who takes an assertive role? Will Sister Julienne face difficulty in their decision?
Hmmmm…

Katie Paterson, ‘Totality’, 2016
“Totality is a mirrorball made with images of nearly every solar eclipse documented by humankind. Totaling over 10,000 unique images, these eclipses come together to reflect the progression of an eclipse across the room – from total through to quarter and half eclipses – mirroring the sequence of the Sun eclipsed by the Moon.” - Katie Paterson I found visiting this work in situ hugely inspiring. I was already aware of the piece through Katie Paterson’s website, but the experience of viewing the work first hand really elevated its impact. I felt a connection to the ideas in my own practice (though some of these connections may not be anything to do with Katie Paterson’s view on the work!). I found the idea of space linking everyone together and of space seen from a human perspective (through the collective fascination of photographing the solar eclipse) very pertinent, and it kind of affirmed that there is a value to the visual language that I am using (the space imagery) on a human level. I also love the idea of a timeline of the eclipse being portrayed - this interest in creating a ‘story’ of what happened, and also the knowledge that the photograph would have been taken at different times of day for each person depending on the timezone they were in. The collection and interpretation of data in that fashion was also really interesting. I wonder if I could use some of my personal collected data to create something in that way? Or perhaps my data is too complex and scatty to create something so coherent? Maybe the route of collecting similar data from lots of people is better, like in this example, and also with Gillian Wearing’s ‘Your Views’ in which she asked people all over the world to submit a video of the view from their window, with basic instructions...
