it only seemed right for hyorin to attend allure's charity event with her image and all. she's donated a handbag herself, something that she received as a gift a couple of years ago but don't really carry around, but she wasn't thinking about bidding on anything. she was mostly here because it was expected of her. plus, it was a free brunch, and she would rather have that over any nighttime event. this way, she could just head on home afterward and spend the rest of the day on her own.
she's gotten off the red carpet only to run right into the arms of byeol who's attended the event with her. she hadn't planned on sticking to her teammates throughout the whole event, but hyorin couldn't help but feel much more comfortable around them. while they weren't seated together, she still wanted to spend as much time with byeol as she could.
"you look cute," she commented before giving byeol a light pat on her head, gentle enough so it doesn't mess up her well-styled hair. "are you thinking of bidding on anything? i think if there's anything that would work with my apartment's interior, i might. but other than that, i'm mostly here for the food," she whispered with a light chuckle.
