A small white figure had just alighted on the giant’s body, near what Yoo Joonghyuk belatedly recognized as the cockpit. He surged up into a run. That idiot! Why hadn’t Kim Dokja told him to attack there instead?

Two bodies fell from the sky. With his last burst of strength, Yoo Joonghyuk turned on Air Steps. He flew through the ash and the smoke. The flapping white coat landed in his extended arms.
Kim Dokja’s eyes opened in surprise. As the dark irises met his face, they seemed to fill with stars.
“Yoo Joonghyuk…”
Yoo Joonghyuk touched down on the scorched ground.
